The Leidsche Rijn Centre is built up of large town blocks, making space for town spaces:
squares, streets, courtyards and axes. Above the continously upward-sloping ground level
is situated a lively 'commercial plinth', above which are the houses and offices.
Below ground level there is space for a car park and logistics which supply and
relieve the world above ground. I strengthened the Kokon team,
which was the office coordinating the plan. My task in the abovementioned project was
principally to make town plans for the blocks.
